I took this photograph in Vancouver on June 1. The champagne flutes appeared in the window of a Main Street thrift store that is known for the witty labels applied to their more desirable auction items. At the time, it was hilarious. Today, not so much, and I have to wonder whether the same window is still intact after last night's disgraceful scenes. As a Canucks fan I feel deeply ashamed of the mindless minority that tore up their beautiful city in the name of defeat. Life can be like that, you stupid bastards...and this is just a game. May they all rot in hell.
